Her Hurt

Her Hurt

A tear rolls down her cheek
Then another
Not a whimper or a sniffle
Tears roll down her face
And down between her breasts
She feels her heart ache
And break with pain

He's sitting there across from her
Pouty and silent too
Apologize spoken, waiting for acceptance
From her, who's heart still aches
He's done all he thinks he should
And somehow doesn't look sorry
And her heart still aches

At every glance, at every look
Her heart aches inside
He broke her heart
He doesn't even care
He goes on like she's never been there
No cares, no worries, no fears,
And somehow she doesn't hate
Only feels her heart break.
